Day-by-Day Itinerary

Meet & Greet on arrival at IXB Airport & transfer to Gangtok. On arrival Check-in to hotel & rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

Start for a Full day city tour covering Tashi view point, Ganesh Tok, Hanuman Tok, Flower show, Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre, Institute of Tibetology, Dro-dul Chorten, Gonjang Monastery & Banjakhri Falls (maximum 6 hours). Overnight stay at Gangtok.

After breakfast start for an excursion to Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.) & Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.) which is 55 kms one way from Gangtok city. Overnight stay at Gangtok. (In case of Land slide or any other reason Tsomgo Lake is closed we will provided alternate sightseeing.). OPTIONAL NATHULA @ INR/- 4000 extra per vehicle (Supplement cost)One can opt for Nathula Excursion by paying a supplement cost which varies from month to month. Organising the permit at the last moment is not possible & a clear window of 72 Hrs with proper documents is required to process the permit. Nathula permit gets confirmed a day prior OR on the day of journey (depending on the working of the permit issuing office) & it is subjected to permit availability as it is allotted as per lottery. Nathula is closed on Monday & Tuesday for tourists.

after breakfast, you will begin your scenic drive from Gangtok to Darjeeling, covering a distance of around 95–100 km in approximately 4 to 5 hours, depending on road and weather conditions. Upon arrival in Darjeeling, you will check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore the local surroundings. In the evening, you may take a pleasant walk around Mall Road Darjeeling or visit Chowrasta, where you can enjoy the charming hill town atmosphere before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Early morning tour to Tiger Hills (8482 Ft / 2586 Mts at around 4 AM) to view sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (subject to clear weather). On way back visit Ghoom Monastery, Batasia Loop. After breakfast go for a half-day sightseeing of Japanese Temple, Peace pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Darjeeling Ropeway, Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Center (Closed on Sunday) & panoramic view of Tea Estate. Overnight at Hotel.

All sightseeing, land transfer & inter hotel transfer as per the itinerary only by 01 Wagonr / similar (Vehicle will not be on disposal- it will be as per the itinerary only. Vehicle will also change sector wise.)

Driver allowance/toll/road tax/fuel charge/permit charges. (Waiting Charges for Ropeway & Toy Train would be extra and can be settled directly).

Expense of personal nature like tipping, laundry, telephone / fax calls, alcoholic beverages, camera/video camera fee at monuments, medical expenses, airport departure tax etc.
