Beautiful Armenia

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for the Aragatsotn Region. Drive to the Amberd Fortress Complex, a medieval fortress and church located on the southern slopes of Mount Aragats at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level. The name Amberd means "Fortress in the Clouds." Continue to Alphabet Alley, an open-air monument dedicated to the Armenian alphabet, featuring large stone sculptures of all 39 Armenian letters. In the evening, return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

After breakfast, begin today's excursion. Your first stop is the Arch of Charents, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Ararat (weather permitting). Continue to the Garni Fortress and the magnificent Garni Temple, the only surviving pagan temple in Armenia, dating back to the 1st century AD. Next, visit the spectacular Symphony of Stones, a natural basalt rock formation created by volcanic activity and one of Armenia's most fascinating natural wonders. Proceed to the Geghard Monastery, originally founded in the 4th century AD and expanded during the 13th century. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Geghard is carved directly into the surrounding cliffs and is considered one of the masterpieces of Armenian medieval architecture. Return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.

After breakfast, travel to the Gegharkunik Region. Visit the historic Kecharis Monastery, founded in the 11th century by the Armenian Pahlavuni princes. Continue to the Tsaghkadzor Ropeway, where you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and forests. Guests may also choose to participate in optional activities such as Zip Line (at an additional cost). Later, drive to the beautiful Lake Sevan, often referred to as the "Pearl of Armenia." It is the largest lake in the Caucasus and one of the world's largest high-altitude freshwater lakes. In the evening, return to Yerevan. Overnight in Yerevan.
