Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 01: Guwahati - Shillong (100 Kms / 3 Hrs):- On arrival at Guwahati Airport, you will be received and transferred to Shillong its about 3 Hrs journey from Guwahati. Shillong (4,900 ft.), called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 02: Shillong – Cherrapunjee You will be traveling to Cherrapunjee – the wettest place on the earth. At Cherrapunjee visit – Double dekker living bridge (Trekking) , Mawsmai Cave, Mawsmai Falls, Seven Sisters Falls and Nohkalikai Falls. Overnight stay.

Day 03:Cherrapunjee – Mwalinnong & Dawki - Cherrapunjee Early Morning proceed to Visit Dowki (Bangladesh Border) and the Mawlynnong village. Mawlynnong Village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in India. It is situated 90 kms. from Shillong and besides the picturesque village, offers interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock. After visiting Mawlynnong, we will go to Dawki – a border town in India – Bangladesh border. Dawki is famous for Umngot River and Dawki Bridge. Later drive back to Cherrapunjee for an overnight stay.

Day 04:Cherrapunjee - Shillong local Sightseeing After breakfast, check-out from hotel and drive to Shillong. Later proceed local sightseeing tour of Shillong and we would visit Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park, Spread Eagle Falls or Sati Falls, Botanical Garden, State Museum, elephanta falls & Shillong peak. Evening free. Overnight stay in Shillong

Day 05:Shillong - Krang Suri Falls, Laitlum Grand Canyon & Phe Phe falls- Shillong Today morning we would drive to Krang Suri - One of the appealing waterfall of Meghalaya. Go for a dip at plunge pool and take in the ambiance before heading towards Laitlum Grand Canyon & Phe Phe falls. Later return back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 06: Shillong to Guwahati (100 Kms / 3 Hrs):- After breakfast transfer to Guwahati (100 kms /3 hrs). Arrive Guwahati and check in at hotel, then proceed for local sightseeing - Visit to Kamakhya Temple, Botanical Garden & Zoo. Evening one can enjoy cruise on River Brahmaputra (Pay direct basis). Overnight in Guwahati.
