Itinerary

  • Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs: Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport (arrival procedures) and will then escort you to your hotel in Cairo in an air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, your tour manager will assist you with a smooth check-in and review your budget vacation itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Overnight in Cairo.
 
  • Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing – Train to Aswan: Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel in Cairo before checking out, then your personal tour guide will accompany you to Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the famous Sphinx and Valley Temple. Then, head out to the Egyptian Museum. Continue to Islamic Cairo, where you will be able to explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s oldest and most alluring bazaar. Later, you will be transferred to the gorgeous Giza train station to catch the sleeper train from Cairo to Aswan. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board. Overnight accommodations inside your compartment on the train. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
 
  • Day 3: Aswan Nile Cruise Tours: Upon your arrival at the Aswan train station, you will be met and assisted by a Tours representative, who will then transfer you to your Nile cruise ship. Enjoy lunch on board, after which you will be guided to visit the famous High Dam, majestic Philae temple of devotion to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the massive Unfinished Obelisk, still resting on its side in the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Then, back to the cruise ship with dinner on board. Overnight aboard your cruise in Aswan. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
 
  • Day 4: Kom Ombo: After breakfast on board, you’ll sail to Kom Ombo, where you’ll encounter the twin Temple of Kom Ombo, where you’ll learn about the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus, whose monuments decorate each half of the temple. You’ll have your lunch back on board the ship and sail on to Edfu and have a dinner on board as well. Overnight aboard your cruise in Edfu. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
 
  • Day 5: Luxor Nile Cruise Tours: After breakfast on board your Nile cruise ship, you will visit Horus Temple in Edfu before sailing to Luxor with lunch on board the ship. You will be transferred back to the Nile cruise ship for dinner and Belly dance show on board. Overnight aboard your cruise in Luxor. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
 
  • Day 6: Luxor Nile Cruise – Train to Cairo: In the early morning, enjoy a relaxed breakfast on board. Disembarkation after breakfast and enjoy a wonderful tour to visit East Bank of the Nile in Luxor to the Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple followed by a visit to the West Bank of the River Nile in Luxor to the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Later, you’ll head to the Luxor train station to catch the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner will be served on board the train. Overnight in your private compartment on the train.   • Day 7: Cairo Optional Excursions: Breakfast aboard the sleeper train before arriving at the Giza train station, where you will be met and assisted by a tours representative who will transfer you to your hotel for some leisure time (you will check into your room as early as possible). There are some optional excursions available in Cairo: you may wish to visit the Step Pyramid of King Zoser in Sakkara .Overnight at your hotel in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast.
